Records at the Smith Co., TN office of Clerk & Master show the recorded will of Thomas Gregory is in poor condition.  However, the will still shows and names seven (7) children of Thomas Gregory:  Volunteers have transcribed some of the early wills in Smith County, including the Thomas Gregory will.  The transcription will follow soon to use in conjunction with the poor copy.

4. Children of Thomas Gregory deceased [Thomas Gregory Junr died in Surry Co., NC]
5. Thomas Douglass only son & representative of Sine deceased who intermarried with John Douglass.
6. Elizabeth George, wife to Isaac George
7. Abraham Gregory

The will names no other children and does not name a son Joseph Gregory as seen on some group sheets of this family.
