1 - Ambrose Gregory settled about here, having 1st lived on the Halifax side of Aaron's Cr, along with Richard Gregory. By 1770 on Halifax side; by 1820 on Mecklenburg side. This is near Granville and Person counties in North Carolina. Milderidge Gregory-Vaughan and husband William Vaughan lived in the area of "1."
2 - Andrew Gregory settled 1764/1765 about here on Kittle's Creek, having earlier had land transaction about "#5" on waters of Juniper Cr, no evidence he lived on the Lunenburg land.
3- Joseph Gregory Senior settled here on South Fork of Meherrin River. When Joseph remarried to Mary Magdalene Roberts-Herndon, he moved over in Charlotte Co. After Mary Magdalen died, and son Thomas moved to TN, Joseph resided a short time with his son John at #4. Joseph then remarried to Alice Davis and lived at #3 in Lunenburg. After Joseph's son John died, with no more children in VA, he moved to Rutherford Co., TN and died there age c. 100.
4- John Gregory, son of Joseph Senr. moved from near his father at #3 to his Lunenburg land at #4, where he died.
5- James Gregory settled in the Juniper Creek area at #5, where he died.
6-Ziner Gregory purchased in 1763 100a on a branch of Little Bluestone and sold the tract to her son William Gregory in 1772. Spouse of Ziner Gregory not determined. Ziner's name is interpreted as "Lena" in some tax records.
