Author studies are an important part of meeting the Texas language arts standards. During the course of the school year we will study many different authors. As we read books by each author the students have the opportunity to become familiar with different personalities, their individual talents, and their writing styles.
Students love to learn about the lives of these writers and artists! They are able to write their own stories with pictures and words with fine authors as role models.
