WILLIAM H. VIERS

William H. Viers, the youngest son of Jeremiah and Louisa Viers, was born September 4, 1869. He departed this life at Mt. Vernon, Illinois June 29, 1928. Age 58 years, 9 months and 25 days. He was born in Perry County, and at about the age of five moved with his parents to Hamilton County, where he spent the remainder of his life. At an early age he professed faith in Christ. Mr. Viers was a broad minded, kind hearted man, honest and always ready to do a kind deed for a neighbor, or any person in distress. His parents, brother and sisters have all preceded him in death. He leaves to mourn their loss, seven nephews, one niece, other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were conducted by Elder John B. Maulding at Hopewell Sunday, July 1, 1928. Interment in Howell cemetery.
