HAPPY
NEW YEAR!!!
-
At Welhisco school spirit was always
important. During assemblies classes would
compete for the coveted prize of “most school
spirit.” I remember one time when our class of
“66” wore ‘Avis’ buttons to signify that “We try
harder.”
-
As we approach the New Year
instead of
setting New Year’s resolutions that are usually
short lived, let me offer an alter-native. As a
therapist and life coach I often ask people what
do you want, what is important to you, what
makes your life worth living, what do you want
your legacy to be, or what are you passionate
about?
-
Let’s
take that enthusiasm
we had as students to become inspired and
excited about our lives. It’s never too late to
dream. It’s never too late to make a
difference. To live is to give, whether you’re
the president or a grandparent. Let’s live this
year with purpose and passion.
