WHY WAS THIS SITE CREATED?

The purpose of this website is to display a collection of new and old photographs showing York County, Pennsylvania churches, cemeteries, homesteads, people, and other subjects of historic interest. Many people researching their York County ancestry are not living in the area, and do not have the opportunity to visit. This will give them a chance to see the rich history that residents of York County see every day.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

Many people may not realize there are over 300 cemeteries in York County. There is also a remarkable number of historic landmarks no matter where you look. For this project to be successful, I am in need of your assistance. 

You can greatly help this project if you are in possession of new or old photos showing area cemeteries, churches, homesteads, or other places of historic interest. If you would like to supply such photos, please contact me using the contact information listed below. I will gladly accept photos via email, snail mail, or local pick-up if you are in the York County area. I will gladly return all photos to the submitter. I am also happy to post a link to your website if you have an online collection of York County photos to share.
