Where am I? Out exploring the World... or at least the highways, byways, streets and back alleys of San Antonio (still fond, though, of Houston where I lived for 20+ years!) Both are in Texas, in case y'all didn't know  :-)

Light, laughter, music and art are food for my soul, but let's not forget reading, writing, archaeology, genealogy, the ocean, outer space, computers, camping and animals of all kinds ::grin:: When not occupied with one of those, you'll find me with my nose buried in a book (anything from suspense to sci-fi), trying to progress in my own writing or toiling away here on-line (I could use a couple more hours in the day :::grin:::)!

Off-line, to recharge I try to get away from the jumble of the city. Walking the beach and collecting shells while the sun paints diamonds on the waves is one of my favorite escapes, as is getting out in the country. Of course, there's always the armchair and a good stack of books! Some of my favorite authors include Philip K. Dick, Douglas Adams, Iris Johansen, Barbara Michaels, Martin Cruz-Smith, Phillip Martini, Michael Palmer, Philip Margolin , Steven White and Julie Garwood.
